The FilterBlox™ Module is the biological heart of the wetland filter, providing 441% more surface area than traditional gravel beds for beneficial bacteria to colonise. Its internal HDPE Biological Filter Tubes create an ideal environment for breaking down excess nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and excess organic waste. This innovative component is designed to integrate seamlessly with Centipede® Modules, Snorkel® Vaults, and other Aquascape wetland filter components The open, structured media promotes even water movement through the module, ensuring consistent filtration across the wetland. This design also optimises cleaning during maintenance pump-outs, making service faster and more effective.
Each module comes with 60 Biological Filter Tubes pre-installed for fast, efficient installation in the field. Stackable and modular, FilterBlox Modules can be configured to fit virtually any wetland layout, are the same size as AquaBlox® Water Storage Modules – Small, and work seamlessly with all Aquascape wetland components.
